More and more families are spending time together watching Food Network TV, specifically the competition shows like Iron Chef and Top Chef. My kids love the Food Network challenges (Dr. Seuss Cakes, The Best Gingerbread House Cakes, etc.).
How about you? Does your family watch cooking shows together? If so, what are you watching?

Yes, my kids love watching food TV! My 10 yo very picky son loves Alton Brown and has tried a new food item or two thanks to "Good Eats". My 13 yo old daughter and I are into "The Worst Cooks in America" and "Barefoot Contessa". Our home is filled with talk of real recipes, real cooking, and real eating which seems to be supported nicely by food TV. Oh, the kids also enjoy "America's Test Kitchen" especially the blind taste tests.

Absolutely! My daughter and I watch The Barefoot Contessa, Ace of Cakes, Alton Brown and Tyler's Ultimate. I love that picture of Julia!

The Barefoot Contessa is one of my favourites. I love Ina.

Food TV is was the start of our love for cooking and entertaining! We are identical twin culinary explorers. We sure have learned a lot of math from all of those fractions in the kitchen!!
