Oh Saturday mornings... I love to open the curtains early and sip tea while watching cartoons with my girls. Then we usually bake muffins or start a loaf a bread. At some point we'll head outside, but these days (two blown knees) means I get more tea while watching them run around the neighbourhood.

Yum. I'm definitely going to need to try these. I have made several bread products from scratch, but English muffins are not on that list.

These sound delicious! I would like to try to make them, but use "quick rise" yeast. This would cut down on the total prep time as only one rising, the last I think, would be necessary. Do you think this would work?

PS - On Saturday mornings, I love to sleep in!!

Hi Anne - It might!  I would do the first rise, cut in half, and then maybe the last one.  Let me know if you try it.

Do you need a cast iron pan. Do not have one!

Hi Lori...I thought you did, but Ive recently discovered that they can be baked so go for it...
