We're off on vacation..yippee!
In the absence of my regular posting, I thought it might be nice to profile some food sites I enjoy...places I go to on a regular basis for information and inspiration.
My first go-to website for recipes is almost always www.epicuious.com . I love this site! Filled with menus and recipes, how-to articles and guides on topics like throwing the perfect holiday celebration or preparing a family picnic, this website really is the place for all food-related information. If that isn't enough, you can also find a food dictionary and conversions/equivalents tools to help guide your food adventures.
Another website I love is www.bbcgoodfood.com. Having spent some time living in Europe in my pre-kids life, the BBC was considered a very reputable and informative source of information for all home cooks. With a blog and cookery videos, as well as information on cooking, wine and well-being, this is a great site to visit for information. If you type the word "kids" into the search field, over 100 recipes show up, offering something great for you to cook with and for your kids.
Do you have any favourite food blogs? A recipe website guaranteed to provide you with a great meal? I would love to hear your thoughts and welcome any recommendations you may have for me (please do share).
I love Simply Recipes too. Elise shares great info and good recipes too. http://simplyrecipes.com/
