These just look so good I want to try them straight away, but I will have to look and see how I can adapt them to a UK version. I made Apple Butter in the Autumn, so I may use that as the apple sauce. I will let you know how I get on and thanks for the recipe.

These look so very good! And as soon as I read the title, I thought just the same thing, how different as a "Holiday" cookie, but how yummy! I have one bag of local apples left in the downstairs fridge that need to be sauced up this weekend... I'm thinking that these will be a great addition to our Christmas Eve buffet!
