If you like books about food, captivating memoir-style writing, and decadent recipes, then My Life from Scratch is undoubtedly for you.
If you're also curious about what it might be like to have a celebrity sister, or how one goes from living in glittery Hollywood to rural Vermont, then this book is probably also for you.
If you have any interest at all in the story of a grief-stricken woman living a seemingly miserable existence, who channelled all of her unhappiness into secret baking sessions, prompting her to abandon her career as a movie executive and open a pastry shop on the other side of the country, well, I'm sure this could be a book for you.
And if you think you'd like to learn more about how Sandra Bullock's sister and her husband went from a life in Tinsel Town to one in "Montpeculiar", by way of sugary sweets and buttery baked goods, I have no doubt this book would be liked by you.
Two weeks ago, I sat perched on the sofa and devoured all 240 pages in one sitting. In case you couldn't tell, it was definitely a book for me, and I think you just might like it, too.
Are you reading anything good these days? Anything worth recommending?
Sounds like a great read! Thanks:)

Hi - and thank you so much! I'm reading Delicious right now and so far I love it. Such a change from her non-fiction writing, yet just as captivating. Stay tuned...I'll be hosting a giveaway for the book this month! :)

Have you heard of Blood, Bones & Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton. I have a feeling you'd really like it! It's like food version of The Glass Castle, in a really great way!
