mmmmmmmmm growing up as a kid of turkish parents we ate this a lot, i still love it. my kids love seaweed, green bean salad with balsamic vinegarette and anything fresh out of the garden.

I enjoy reading your blog for food ideas. We loved the oatmeal chocolate cookies : )

As far as salad goes my boys will not touch a lettuce leaf and I struggle with getting veggies into them at all. They are 2 and 4 so I hope it's something they will grow out of????

Anyway, thanks for your blog. Your enthusiasm is great!

Oh yes, the salad obstacle. I've found that they will eat all of the salad components seperatley on their plate, but when I toss it together they get freaky! I, however, have not given up and my daughter who is now 12 1/2 eats all types of salads and recently invented her own: mixed greens, craisins, slivered almonds, creamy ceasar dressing dressing.
